What We Do
A Star Universal specialize in ‘on-site’ and ‘collect and return’ repairs. Due to most people’s busy schedule, it is much easier if a tech collects and returns equipment. We have found it an ideal way to take the hassle out of computer repair. In situations where the repair has to be (or is preferred to be) carried out in your home or office, we have that covered too. Appointments can be made 7 days a week
Alternatively, computers can be dropped off at, or picked up from our office 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday)
PROCEDURE
In order to book a repair, either phone, text or use the Quick Quote web-form on the ‘contact’ page to tell us about your problem. A rough estimate can usually be given straight away for most computer problems. If the problem is urgent, we will always do our best to accommodate quickly, even out of hours.
For Laptops / PCs which do not have a definite solution, we can physically diagnose the fault with no obligation to go ahead with a repair. Fault diagnosis starts at £20 and depends on how in-depth the diagnostic procedure has to be. The vast majority of diagnosis is done at the £20 charge.
