Below are examples of some of the criteria involved in Web Designs. Each element adds time to the Design and therefore, the more complex the Site, the more it will cost. We price each job according to the type of Scripting or Graphics staff we need to involve, and the time they will need to spend to make the Design work. We have included links to some example Sites. The more you can provide towards the Design the cheaper. For example, if you can provide suitable photos for inclusion, this saves us factoring photo costs into the price.

Arranging a Web Host, also Domain Name Acquisition can be done for you. This is done using commercial Hosting Companies and the cost passed on to you.
Logo creation, Image manipulation or just a very unusual visual Design can take a lot of creative hours to get the look just right. This is especially true when creating from scratch.
The more pages on your Site, the more time is spent coding and Designing. This has the most direct effect on cost. Where the content on several pages is similar this adds less cost per page as many elements would be a repeat of other page contents.
Flash content, Music, Moving mouse and banner effects etc. all add to the overall complexity. Fancy Graphics effects can sometimes take longer to create than the actual Site itself.

The most difficult thing about pricing where artistic input is concerned is that there may sometimes be reason to rethink ideas halfway through or scrap ideas due to impracticalities etc. We therefore try to give an estimate which takes into account most variables, meaning that the final price is usually the price estimated or less.
We don't feel that it's beneficial to either the client or ourselves to give artifically low prices only for the final price to be in excess of what's been budgeted for. We also keep you up to date regularly unless the design is so straight-forward as to need no interaction.
