When walls are rendered from brick / block and then skimmed, there is a lot of moisture retained within the walls. In such cases, the plaster has to be left for anything up to six weeks in order to ensure that the decorative finish isn't ruined. If you are looking to tie the plastering in with decorative work, we can advise as to how long you'll need to allow before painting, tiling, papering etc..
